Our Family's Journey Through Time
We are glad you stopped by to visit our site. This website was created in the hope that memories of our ancestors will be preserved. Where would we be without our ancestors? Many we know, but others we will never meet. With that in mind, we started putting together a family tree. The searches go through both male and female lines in order to create a pedigree that is as complete as possible. We hope to be able to collect more information through this site to further develop and supplement the family tree. There are undoubtedly mistakes in this family tree that we have made ourselves or that we have adopted carelessly in our enthusiasm. Please do not hesitate to point this out to us, as we would like to rectify it. We therefore appeal to everyone who can help us with the further completion of our family tree and family history. You can help us with the following information: obituaries, marriage certificates, photos, life stories. It is a long process, so come back regularly to see what has been added.
Details of living persons are not visible on this website for privacy reasons. So no dates of birth, no photos and no other personal details of people who are still alive. Family members can register, which makes it possible to consult this information after registration.
In every family there is someone who is looking for his or her ancestors, to tell the family story. Doing genealogy is not a cold collection of facts, but instead giving life to all who have gone before us. In finding our ancestors, we somehow find ourselves. It goes beyond just documenting facts. It's about who we are and why we do things the way we do.
We are proud of what our ancestors were able to achieve. How they contributed to who we are today. It's about respecting their hardships and losses, their never giving up, their determination to carry on and build a life for their family. It is with deep pride that the fathers fought and some died to make and love us a nation. It goes to a deep and immense understanding what they did for us. It is equally proud and loving that our mothers struggled to give birth to us, without them we could not exist, which is why we love each and every one of them, as far back as we can reach. May we be born who we are. So that we can remember them. So we do. With love and care and writing down every fact of their existence, for we are they and they are the sum of who we are.
Here you can see the most common surnames in our family tree.
We make every effort to document our research. If you have something you would like to add, please contact us.
